Instruction for Authors: Giah-Pezeshk (Plant Pathologist) Journal

The
Giah-Pezeshk Scientific-Extension Journal accepts and publishes scientific-extension, specialized, and review articles related to all aspects of plant protection after a rigorous peer-review and acceptance process. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published in any other journal, nor should they be under simultaneous consideration elsewhere.

Article Structure
All submissions must include the following sections:

Abstract: 150 to 250 words in Persian (and optionally in English) in a single paragraph.

Keywords: 3 to 7 relevant keywords.

References: Prepared in APA style, manually or using EndNote software.

Formatting Guidelines

File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

Fonts: Persian text in B Nazanin (size 12) and English text in Times New Roman (size 10), Justified.

Article Title: B Nazanin, size 18 (Bold).

Section Headings: Size 14 (Bold).
-
Authors' Information: Full names in BMitra (size 12, Bold). Use superscripts to indicate organizational affiliation, academic rank (Professor, Associate Prof., Assistant Prof., Ph.D. Student, etc.), and the corresponding author (marked with an asterisk ).
- *Contact Info: Corresponding author’s email should follow their affiliation in Italicize (B Mitra 12 / Times New Roman 10).

Page Setup: A4 size, 2.5 cm margins, and 1.5 cm line spacing. Each heading should be separated from the paragraph by one blank line.

Terminology: All technical terms must comply with the approved terminology of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature (Vol. 2: Plant Pathology; Vol. 11: Agricultural Entomology).

Figures and Tables

Figures: Centered in the text. Captions in BMitra (11) for Persian and Times New Roman (10) for English, placed below the figure. Figures must be high quality (min. 300 dpi) in JPEG or TIFF format.

Tables: Centered in the text. Headers in BMitra (11) and Times New Roman (10), placed above the table. All figures and tables must be cited within the text.

Plagiarism Detection
To prevent duplication and plagiarism, Giah-Pezeshk utilizes the
Hamyab plagiarism detection software (Hamyab.sinaweb.net). Powered by AI and deep learning, this system checks all electronically published data in the country. Similarity reports are provided to reviewers and the Editor-in-Chief for final decision-making.

Multimedia & "The Plant Pathologist’s Lens"
This section is dedicated to multimedia submissions. Selection for publication is at the journal's discretion. Finalists must complete an
Originality Commitment Form.

Submissions: Microscopic/macroscopic photos, creative drawings, and caricatures of pests/diseases are welcome.

Format: JPEG or TIFF, minimum 300 dpi (Note: user mentioned 300MP, likely meant 300DPI).

Video Summary
Upon preliminary acceptance, the corresponding author must send a short video summary of the article to the journal's email. This video will be published alongside the article to enhance knowledge transfer.
